The waterline has risen above my head. I do not want learning, dignity, or respectability. I just want to see more clearly under water.

Touch
There is a wonderful old tree in the river right at the water's edge in my yard. A lot happens there. Roots touch, stingrays glide, ants tunnel, snakes bask, and debris wafts. Nature moves the bits around.
You do so well at moving the eye through this piece. It is definitely a glisten piece--like you showed me one time. How the painting calls you into it like a story.
Thank you both for your comments. Having immediate feedback is helping me know when the pieces connect and when they don't. Its easier to see when I am off track. Its nice that an audience is readily available - more like music, not so academic and rarified.
I love this one but my bias is showing. Again the anchor in perspective and visual form are a real draw for me.
