The waterline has risen above my head. I do not want learning, dignity, or respectability. I just want to see more clearly under water.

Unnamed Storm Pummels Dock
The wind gusts were upwards of 80 mph, and the water churned furiously. It was nice to watch that stable point in the river and see the waves break over it.
I love how this daily observation and meditation stays connected to nature while remainingvabstract. You don't need to know it's a dock to fell the stable bs caotic you were attracted too. Do you think this will change how you approach longer term paintings and projects ?
Thank you. That is exactly what I am trying to do. Working with abstract elements gives me more latitude for expression and innovation in the process. If I decide that it can only be descriptive, then I have cut out nine/tenths of my possibilities. I am trying to open up the field, and I am sure in terms of process I could do much more.
