Sideways Tree


I know you can't see it but Sideways Tree is leaning over the water. It has grown muscular in its sideways position and its bark is as red as flame.

    I love the delicate pen work over the color. The torn edges feel distracting in this one? Is tearing becoming a formula? Doors it still serve your purpose?

    I think the tears in these represent separation. We are all separate but together. You have used the collage a lot but it is particularly significant right now and especially with the fish series. We are sorry about Luzanne Catherine. We love you so very much.

    Jodie, Thanks for the insight. I will pay more attention. I do like tearing things up but I don't want it to look too automatic.
