Tree of Light and Dark

Another large drawing. I saw this in the yard recently and actually it was moonlit. The trees whirl sometimes when the moon is bright, the water calm, the air sultry and warm. The yard loves to feel them move, and even the spiral was awake to watch. You can see it hovering through the trees.

Large drawing about 21/2' x 3'.

  1. This is another kind of double space. I love this, like the other one, it is involving.

  2. I guess you're right. I love the double spaces. I looked at this after I posted today's image, and yes even in its small nondescript form it is a double space.

  3. This is so strong. The light reads clean and true and the mystery and melancholy of that deep night is so solid. Really great combination of perspective, form, line and light!
